Civil
Engineer/ Project Manager
Description
Candidate must be an enthusiastic leader to manage our team
of three to four civil design/drafters. This position requires
a strong background in commercial and residential site design
for private and public development. Individual must have
a strong knowledge of Jurisdiction requirements related
to planning, streets, storm water quality/detention facility,
and utility design. Experienced in hydrology and hydraulic
design concepts, and Uniform Plumbing and Building Codes
as related to civil engineering is required. A complete
understanding of the permitting process for all local city
and county jurisdictions within the Portland Metro area
will be put to use in this position. This position requires
the use of AutoCAD and Softdesk, and candidate must possess
the design/drafting experience and capability of completing
design drawings on your own. Strong business development,
scheduling & documentation skills are a must. This is
an excellent opportunity for an aggressive civil engineer
to get in on the ground floor with a young growing firm.

Qualified candidates will have a BSCE, a well-rounded professional
background of at least 5 years of experience, and be a registered
professional engineer in the state of Oregon or the ability
to obtain within 6 months. Experience in, and/or licensed
as a Land Surveyor would be a plus. A strong business development,
scheduling & documentation skills are a must. Salary
based upon experience.
